44mm X2 Dynamic Driver
The SR325 uses Grado’s 44mm X2 dynamic driver incorporating a Mylar diaphragm, copper voice coil, and rare earth magnet system engineered for efficiency and control.
The tuning emphasizes articulation and speed, delivering tight bass response, forward midrange clarity, and crisp high-frequency extension.
Signature Silver Headband Assembly
The SR325 incorporates Grado’s Signature Silver headband assembly developed from the same engineering platform as the Signature Gold system.
The assembly utilizes engraved reinforced polymer gimbals and junction blocks, maintaining the improved geometry and controlled rotation of the Gold platform while reducing weight.
A genuine leather headstrap with contrasting white stitching improves comfort, while the internal steel spring band allows listeners to easily adjust clamping pressure.
Signature Silver Cable
The SR325 is supplied with Grado’s Signature Silver cable offering reduced weight and improved flexibility compared with earlier designs.
F Cushions
The SR325 ships standard with Grado F cushions reinforcing its immediate and energetic presentation.
Grado cushions also serve as a tuning element allowing listeners to personalize their listening experience.
Aluminum Housing
The SR325 features a precision-machined aluminum housing designed to reduce unwanted resonance while supporting a fast and controlled presentation.

Customer Reviews
I just received my SR325's has replacements for the SR-80s that I have used daily for the last 7 years. I love the sound and the aluminum feel of the headphones, but the right ear cup cable is twisted, leaving the cable to always be pushing into my neck. And this combined with the cable being thicker is quite annoying. I went from loving my grados headphones to not using them basically overnight. I reached out to support the day after I received them and let them know about the issue, I've yet to receive a follow-up for any way that I can resolve the situation.
Like I said, the sound quality is amazing, and the head strap in the headphone body are such a nice upgrade from the SR-80s that I've been using, but the cable pressing into my neck is distracting enough for me personally that I considered putting in for a refund request. I figured I would handle that also with support but to no avail. I would be more than happy to talk with anyone to try and get this issue fixed so I can continue to use these awesome headphones that are otherwise unusable to me..
I've been using the Grado GW100x wired to a FIIO KA15 as my desktop headphone setup for the past 2 years and decided to level up my desktop setup once I saw Grado released the next generation of their headphones.
These SR325 are the nicest Grado's I've owned in terms of cost, sound quality, and build quality having come from the SR60i to SR80e to the GW100x.
The sound is energizing with great staging and separation between instruments and vocals. Setting the PEQ to “Dance” on the K13 gives me enough bass to be satisfied for EDM music), and it makes all genres fun and exciting to listen to.
The build quality is better than the GW100x. The gimbals seem sturdier and has "Grado Labs" etched into them and the headband has slightly more cushion.
I was a little worried about the cable length because I recall tying the SR60i/SR80e cable to shorten it back in the college days to walk around campus, but for desktop listening, it is actually the perfect length. I love that it is this woven flexible thick material too.
The only downside might be that the ear pads get uncomfortable after a while when listening to them with glasses on.
Overall, I'm very happy with my setup and happy to finally try out the SR325.
